Our coaching team has proven their place among us with years of experience and an accredited apprenticeship through the MadLab School of Fitness Professional Coaching Development Program (PCPD).

Our apprenticeship program teaches key concepts, critical thinking, and methodologies utilized in our system.  


Topics include human biology, movement & exercise sciences, effective coaching skills & techniques, supervised individual & group coaching experience, and programming.  


We also cover relationship-based sales, client acquisition, client retention, and general business.  


 


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?


THE ATHLETE TO COACH

Has a past as an athlete, then as a trainer or coach in their sport. 


Easy to establish honest relationships with all kinds of people. 


Is now interested in training because of the impact it can have on people's lives. 


Is happy to be established in Salem-Keizer. 


Not sure if it is possible to have a sustainable career as a coaching professional.  

THE LICENSED PROFESSIONAL 

Has training in the human body systems. 

Already working as a practitioner, but would like to be able to go deeper to help their clients. 

Wishes to have a career as a professional coach or trainer, but does not see how their present job can provide this opportunity. 

Knows they want to live in Salem-Keizer. 

Wants to work within a team, but also have      the freedom to develop as a professional independently.  

THE EXPERIENCED COACH 

Already a full-time trainer or coach. 

Receives acceptable pay, but is tired of working the floor from morning to night to make it happen. 

Enjoys helping people by working on basic and long term aspects of physical capacity. 

Would like to be part of a team for the professional energy that it brings. 

Seeking to live in Salem-Keizer long-term for its quality of life.
